Graphene is a next-generation Blockchain architecture that makes use of the CASPER staking consensus protocol, being developed by the Phore Blockchain team. The architecture is currently in late-stage development and is written in Go.
Airdrop Information
Graphene will be airdropped to Phore (PHR) holders. There is no other way to receive Graphene (GFN) tokens upon initial distribution.
In order to receive Graphene (GFN) tokens, you MUST hold Phore (PHR) tokens in either your personal Phore wallet or exchange/third party wallet (which supports the airdrop) at the time of the Blockchain snapshot.
A list of exchanges/other third parties supporting the airdrop will be released soon.
Graphene will initially be distributed as an erc20 token. This will allow Graphene to develop its userbase/market before Mainnet launch and will allow for GFN holders to make use of the Ethereum ecosystem.
An erc20 > Mainnet GFN bridge will be provided upon Graphene Mainnet launch.
When will the Snapshot take place?
The Phore Blockchain Snapshot will take place (multiple times) in the months ahead (dates TBA). Users who hold Phore (PHR) tokens in suitable wallets will all be accounted for and will receive Graphene (GFN) tokens.
How many Snapshots will take place?
There will be 6 Snapshots taken of Phore Blockchain balances. These Snapshots will be taken at different times.
Snapshot #1 will account for 16.66% of the Graphene supply.
Snapshot #2 will account for 16.66% of the Graphene supply.
Snapshot #3 will account for 16.66% of the Graphene supply.
Snapshot #4 will account for 16.66% of the Graphene supply.
Snapshot #5 will account for 16.66% of the Graphene supply.
Snapshot #6 will account for 16.7% of the Graphene supply.
How many Graphene (GFN) will be distributed?
The current supply of Phore (PHR) is approximately 22.5 Million — Graphene (GFN) will have a supply which is much larger.
Graphene (GFN) tokens will be issued at a rate of 10:1 vs Phore (PHR) tokens.
This means, for every 1PHR a user holds at the time of each Snapshot., they will receive 10GFN. If we look at today’s supply, this would mean there would be a supply of 225 Million Graphene (GFN) tokens.
