Introducing THUNDER
A New Decentralized Marketing Initiative by Graphene
What is Graphene?
With the potential capacity to process over 100,000 transactions per second, Graphene is a revolutionary Blockchain architecture which makes use of sharding technology and the CASPER consensus protocol. The architecture has been developed using the modern programming language ‘Go’.
Having the ability to support high-performance execution of Turing-complete smart contracts, Graphene can support complex decentralized applications (dApps), business models, and allow the creation of customized shards that are optimized for different use cases, while allowing full interoperability between shards. The potential use cases for Graphene are limitless.
Graphene gives users the power by allowing anybody to assist in shaping the future of the decentralized blockchain architecture by way of a built-in decentralized governance system.
INTRODUCING THUNDER
Just as Graphene gives users the power by allowing them to assist in shaping the blockchain, Graphene THUNDER gives users the power by allowing them to assist in shaping the Marketing of Graphene — this is Decentralized Marketing!
Firstly, THUNDER members will be contribute to Graphene Marketing by using their own socials.
Members socials will be used by themselves in order to promote Graphene. Imagery / Videos will be shared with users to ensure there is always fresh material to use. Twitter, Telegram, Facebook, Discord, Bitcointalk…etc will be the target platforms initially, with more being added based on THUNDER member feedback.
Users will score each others efforts each week based on a point scoring system developed by the Graphene team. Each platform and style of content will have different weightings within this system. Initially, this is based upon what the Graphene team sees as most effective, and over time will be refined by members of THUNDER.
For doing all this, members of THUNDER will all share in a pool of Graphene (GFN) tokens, with the members with the highest score receiving a large share of the pool — The weekly pool amount will be announced in the coming days!
To ensure there is no collusion, each individual will rank different members each week, a system has been put in place to make this completely random. By doing all of this, Graphene THUNDER introduces a Decentralized aspect to Cryptocurrency Marketing.
The THUNDER BUDGET
With the introduction of Graphene Mainnet, Graphene will have a Decentralized Budget System. Each month the Blockchain will generate funds to use for the betterment of Graphene, be that Development, Marketing or for other reasons.
THUNDER will receive funding each month generated by the blockchain — The THUNDER BUDGET. It will be completely up to the members how to spend these funds, this again will be based upon a weighted system — Members who have scored higher on average based on the rankings from their peers will have more votes when it comes to deciding where to use the THUNDER BUDGET. A Decentralized panel will be selected among the Graphene community each month who will ensure the THUNDER BUDGET is spent in accordance with the terms set out, thus eliminating any possibility of collusion and leading to optimal marketing!
